Summer Tanka Poetry

Summer is so warm
The wind is gently blowing
Sun always gleaming
Sun rays blistering so hot
Swimming in the summer sun!!
by Charmaine (CAN)
How I love summer
The sun rays light beaming down
Splashing and swimming
The sun makes the water warm
It helps the flowers grow tall
by Tyler (CAN)
Warm and beautiful
Kids swimming and having fun
Trees softly blowing
Small birds chirping and singing
The best season of the year
by Emily (CAN)
Sun rays beaming down
Sun burns all around today
Plants are wilting now
Blistering stones on my feet
People swimming everywhere
by Colin (CAN)
