What is Life Like?

Life is like a wave in the ocean, 
Like a rollercoaster in an amusement park, 
Like a promise that shouldn’t be broken, 
Like a school teacher’s remark. 
It has its ups and it has its downs, 
It has its smiles, and it has its frowns. 

Tears can run down from our eyes,  
Or it can brighten like the summer skies. 
Sometimes it bites, sometimes it fights,
Sometimes it’s wonderful and filled with delights.
Sometimes it’s ignorant, it doesn’t respond, 
But sometimes it’s an angel that gives blessings beyond.
