“Hi, I’m Geoffery and I’m 11 years old. This is my pet cat, Timothy. We got his name from a kid’s TV show we watched. We adopted him from the SPCA, and he is five years old. When he was around two years old, he got hit by a car in front of our house. Luckily he is big and it kind of saved his life. He limped to our house, and when my mom saw him, she quickly took him to the vet.
Timothy is a pretty picky eater. He doesn’t like meat at all, and he doesn’t like milk. He just drinks water and eats boring old cat food. Even though he is picky, he eats a lot and wants to eat all the time (when he’s not sleeping).
He sleeps in different places around the house. Sometimes he sleeps upstairs on the couch, sometimes on my bed or in the laundry room on his cat bed. He sleeps a lot!
He is shy. He only really likes cats. Sometimes he fights with our other cat, and we have to pull them apart. He always wakes us up in the morning. He jumps on my brother and I and bites our hair. He also whips our faces with his tail. Because of his personality, Timothy is one of the things that makes our home feel cozy and unique. He thinks he is the king of the house!”
