Print out a gerbil colouring poster. Then, try to find all the hidden flames that have been shooting out of the fingers of an alien. Yes, you read that right. The alien is from a story written by one of the students at Bloomsbury Elementary. It is about a boy who wants to earn his Black Belt. Find out what he needs to do to get it and what he learns in the process!
Another story at the library is about a boy with a magic stone. He uses his magic to enable a fox to speak, and they become very good friends.
You’ll also find some true stories about kids. One is about an experience someone had getting very lost from their parents. Find out what happens!
Leon has put together a few tips about learning to play basketball. If you’re not on a basketball team already, it might spark your interest to learn a few techniques.
