Submissions are welcome from youth ages 7-12 without any use of AI, apart from a spelling and grammar check. If you can have your submissions proofed by an adult before submitting it, that would be marvelous!
Ideas of what you could send me:
- Short story suitable for ages 8-12 years (500 words or less; Be sure the story doesn’t include any violence, fighting, not too scary, gruesome, or dark-natured; If you don’t have a title listed, one will be selected for you)
- True story of an experience you had that was meaningful or taught you a lesson (500 words or less)
- Poem (short to medium in length is preferred; If you don’t have a title listed, one will be selected for you)
- Easy craft
- Art: Drawing (coloured), painting, or other type
- Pet photo and description
- Photo and a description of a science project that you made
- Snack idea or recipe (healthy in nature)
- Ways we can protect the environment
- Joke, riddle, embarrassing moment, or tongue twister
- Tell me about a sport you enjoy or a musical instrument you play
- Comic (coloured preferred)
- An article, or any other idea you have!
