Comic Profile Art

“What inspired me to draw this step-by-step is the book, Hooky. It’s a Webtoon comic that I got in paperback and I loved it.” Laura, Age 11.

Supplies :

  • paper
  • pencil
  • eraser
  • pencil crayons

Directions

  1. Make a circle, it doesn’t have to be perfect.
  2. Add a mini circle next to it.
  3. Add a little curved line for the nose.
  4. Add one slanted long line. Then add a little slanted line.
  5. Add one little line near the chin. Add one line straight down from the mini circle.
  6. Erase the extra lines.
  7. Erase and add hair.
  8. Add eyes and eyebrows. Add a smile.
  9. Add colour. Add shading and you’re done!
