Sabrina Guo

Sabrina, Age 11, has been featured in Galaxy News of the Cherry Blossom #62 issue of BAZOOF! You’ll find it on pages 20-21. Here are additional photos and video links to enjoy!

“This is a selfie I took on a vacation with my family.”

“In my spare time, I am working on a series about my pet cat, Daisy, who goes on an adventure with her friends.”

“On a more serious note, I am a dedicated violinist, and I practice about two hours a day.”

“I am a member of the Joyous String Ensemble. Summer of 2017, we went on our China Tour visiting 6 cities in 20 days.  We participated in photo shoots, videos, and interviews ahead of our concerts and for our documentary. I vividly remember all of us staying after concerts, taking photos with our young fans, and signing autographs and CDs. This photo was taken after our Shanghai concert. I am first from the right, sitting at the table.”

“When we returned to the hotel after these performances, well after midnight, we all just crashed into our beds.”

“I had an amazing performing and filming experience in NYC and appeared in 2017 UNICEF’s World Children’s Day Official Music Video, as part of the Joyous String Ensemble. I’m the one furthest to the back in this photo.” You can view the video here!

“More recently, the Joyous String Ensemble (JSE) performed at the Brooklyn Net’s half-time show at the Barclays Center. I’m the fourth from the left. You can watch our performance here on JSE’s facebook page. My favourite NBA player and role model is Brooklyn Nets’, Jeremy Lin.”

“Thank you BAZOOF! so much for inviting me to do this interview. I’m so delighted to share my experience and to encourage other young writers to share their insights too!”
